Description
Experience Level: Expert
Structural Design Calculations for the superstructure and for a raft foundation of the extension only. The chapel is a full finished operational structure. The walls of the extension are shown shaded in the plan drawing so that the extent of the new works can be easily identified. The extension is 10770mm x 12130mm maximum external dimensions in plan and 5637mm to the top of the parapet wall.
We have full CAD drawings for the existing chapel and for the extension extension to form the crematorium and a SI Report. The raft foundations are required to support the plan equipment which will have a live load of 25kN/m2 to give flexibility in placement of the equipment, the whole floor should be designed to carry this load. The external walls are to be constructed from 140mm inner and 100mm outer concrete blocks, with a 75mm fully filled insulated cavity. The Roof is to be constructed from clear spanning Mitek Posi-joists or similar equivalent composite structural timber joists supporting a warm roof deck and a plasterboard soffit for fire rating. The walls extend above the roof line to form a parapet wall. The services supported by the roof joists will be exposed so there will be no decorative suspended ceiling to support. Full CAD drawings and SI report are available upon request, due to the restricted size and quantity of the files that can be uploaded. Any questions or queries will be answered promptly in order to allow an accurate bid to be provided.
We have another project currently listed - Sunningvale Close - Phase 3. This is a raft foundation design for a pair of semi detached houses and preference will be given to a proposal to take on both projects.
