Description
Experience Level: Expert
Information for the business: Architectural drawing technician required
Design details: I have attached 3 black and white photographs of a building now demolished I wish to rebuild. I know some of the building's dimensions and would like to work out more completely the original building's dimensions; length, height to eaves, height to ridge, dormer and window dimensions.
The man standing in the doorway of the burnt out building was 5' 9" tall, this photo is taken virtually head on in front of the building only slightly off-set.
Ideas for the visual style: Simple line drawing with dimensions required as in Sketchup
Extra notes: From my own calculations the building was probably between 36 feet to 39 feet long, about 12 feet to the eaves and about 22 feet to the ridge line, I have no idea of the building's width.
Ground floor windows were approximately 3'6" wide by 4'8" tall, the first floor windows 3'6" wide and 4' tall, the front door way was approximately 4'8" wide and 7'8" or possibly 8' tall.
The 3 full height dormers are a particular feature and you will notice the middle dormer ridge is lower than the other two. The slates are either 6" or 8" wide if that helps.
