Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated duration: 2 weeks
Description: I require a CAD Engineer with mechanical experience to assist me with a small project based in Bedfordshire.
I run my own design & drafting firm and have been dealing with this client for a long time now. Unfortunately, I am too busy right now to get involved with particular project and so am looking for a freelancer to help me out.
The client is a smallish company who supplies equipment to the pharmaceutical industry.
The project in mention will require the successful freelancer to visit the client at there Bedfordshire office, discuss with them their needs and help problem solve & design a set of 4 Platforms for a small automated device. Each platform will have a unique piece of apparatus attached to it for the purpose of measuring the performance of a standard inhaler. Ideally the drafting will be carried out using AutoCAD but other software such as Solidworks will also be considered as long as drawings can be provided in dwg format.
I have attached a few jpgs of the automated system complete with various attachments for you to look at to give you an idea of the the work involved. As you can see, it will be fairly easy project for the right candidate.
Ideally, I am looking for someone from an engineering background who can give input in to the actual design of the platforms and who can then CAD up the individual parts into working drawings ready for manufacture.
I estimate there being approx 4-5 hours on site to discuss the project with the client, and then a further 5 hours to draft the platforms up.
Freelancer based in the Bedfordshire area would be desirable but will consider other based in surrounding areas. This project is fairly urgent and so I would be looking to hire someone this week who can start next week.
Any questions, please ask :)
