Description
Start on-site:
October 28, 2025
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
I’m looking for an experienced architectural designer or technician to prepare a full set of design submission drawings and documentation for a small coffee kiosk (approx. 9 m²) inside Bank Underground Station (TfL property).
The concept and layout are already defined — this is a simple, compliance-focused project with no cooking and minimal alterations.
Scope of work:
Measured survey drawings (based on site measurements provided by me or the property manager)
Existing and proposed plans & elevations (1:50)
Lighting / electrical layout (basic, coffee machine + fridge + till)
Signage and shopfront elevation
Materials and fire classification schedule (FR MDF, FR birch plywood, finishes)
Drainage and plumbing layout (simple sink connection)
Documentation for TfL Design Submission – including material data, compliance statements, and coordination with TfL fit-out guidelines
Drawings to be provided in PDF and DWG formats
Project details:
Location: Bank Station, London
Use: Coffee-to-go kiosk (no cooking)
Design style: Simple, natural finishes (painted MDF, birch plywood, minimal lighting)
TfL Appendix 2 Design Submission Checklist to be followed
Deliverables:
Full drawing package (existing + proposed) ready for TfL submission
Accompanying schedules and notes for fire and electrical compliance
What I provide:
Existing photos and a sketch layout
Material choices and visual references
Full brief and guidance (I’m a qualified designer/architect myself).
The drawings has to be done from scratch - we will have to meet at Bank Station Unit with the TfL property manager to survey the unit and take measurements for the drawings.
How much approximately is the quote for the job?
