Design details: I am looking for a freelancer ideally with experience in working with Libra/Geo magic software, for an approximate 6 month contract (starting beginning of Jan 2017) based in the Milton Keynes area. Libra/Geo magic is the desired software to be used, although freelancers who are fluent in other programs that are compatible with Libra/Geo magic (such as Solidworks), will be considered.
The work involved will be the measuring and then drafting/modelling up of products and individual parts in 2D & 3D accordingly. You will basically be creating a library of all the products that this firm already produces for their clients. They have just simply never gotten around to creating a library themselves.
It is within a Mechanical design / Thermal testing industry, so you will ideally need to have experience working within a mechanical engineering environment to be able to comfortably take on what's involved.
The work will be based at the client offices (near Milton Keynes, UK). So it is paramount that you are able to travel to the MK area on a daily basis, or perhaps prepared to temporarily relocate for the duration of the project / stay in a hotel during the week etc. (I am happy to discuss reimbursement for accommodation if this is required)

Hi Peter,
Presumably if the freelancer uses another program such as SolidWorks, they would have to be imported as dumb solids. Is your client definitely OK with this?
