Graphic designer

I am an individual who is always open to new, exciting and challenging experiences. I hold a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design. I completed a 2 year university exchange program at the University of Montpellier in France. I am a fervent enthusiast of the concept of international design, and this contributes to my willingness and optimism to be an employee at your organisation.

I have more than seven years experience as a graphic designer, and more than two years experience as a Creative Art Director managing a Graphic Design Division. I can communicate effectively in English, French and Korean.

As Creative Art Director, I was in continuous communication with upper management of the company. I had the responsibility of managing and changing the department to which I was assigned.


I have much experience with Magazine Editorial and Design. A few of my projects include Korean Airlines National In-Flight magazine named, %u201CMorning Calm%u201D, as well as projects such as the %u201CKoreana%u201D Magazine for the Korean Government. In addition to this, I am good at designing brochures, information booklets, posters, and calendars etc. I have done illustration work for the Samsung Company, in Korea.

On a larger scale, I have experience in Exhibition Booth Planning and Design. My last exhibition booth project, consisted of two floors, and was used at an international exhibition held in Shanghai, China in 2007.

I am familiar with various design software including InDesign, and I am an expert at using Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

I am very serious about my work. I believe that one should be dedicated to what they do. I believe that what I do as an Art, and I therefore have much respect for the Graphic Design industry.

I am passionate about helping others, and I do believe that being passionate about something is usually a powerful means of securing success.

In addition to this, I am an individual that can work well dependently and independently. I am both flexible and balanced and welcome any challenge that arises. I have the ability to thrive under pressure. I value the concept of teamwork, as it enables an organisation to function efficiently and effectively. I have a continuous thirst for knowledge and cultural diversity. I foster the belief in respect towards individuals, regardless of creed, religion, race and gender.

I would like to conclude by adding that I am confident in my abilities and that I am suitable candidate for a position at your organisation. I would regard the opportunity as a chance for me to grow intellectually and to expand my horizons.
