First example to show man walking 4mph and the walkway stationary - background moving slowly past.

Next example as drawn to show man walking 4mph and the walkway moving 4mph with him and showing double the speed of the background moving past.

Next example as drawn to show man walking 4mph and the walking moving against 4mpg and the background stationary

Next example as drawn to show man walking 4mph but walkway walking against him at 8mph and the background moving away from him.

Final example not drawn is the man now walking 2mph and the walking moving 4mph against him and the backgroun moving slower away from him.
