Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Information for the business: Comparing manual cutting of metal to a laser
Industry: Technology
Design details: I would like a split screen comparing an old fashioned metal fabricator doing 2 jobs and a forward thinking fabricator buying in the job from us and done by a Tube Laser
first draft overview -
1st Job - Stainless Steel Racking
Arkights
Show a man marking out some stainless square tube, then he centre pops it, he drills it, then he cuts 2 pieces into a mitred edge then he puts into a jig and buts the two pieces together and welds it. Show a clock going around to show 30 mins elapsed time.
Do It Rights
On the right hand side of the screen we show the tube being laser cut and having the ends mitred all on the laser machine shown done in 30 seconds
Then the man takes the piece, folds the ends into an angle and then welds it.
Then showing the guy doing more so he has 60 times as many done.
Benefits - more accurate, quicker, more cost effective
2nd job - large Mild steel tubes with manifolds
Arkrights
man marking it out first, then cut out with a hand plasma, show taking 20 mins per hole x 3. he then stuggles to put the tubes together.
Do it rights
Puts tube into laser and cuts within 2 mins all in.
Then show how much more accurate the tube is cut - show two tubes being butted together precisly.
Benefits - more accurate, quicker, more cost effective
3rd job Bayonet fitting
Arkwrights - scratching his head with some stainless steel tube in his hand
Do it rights -
takes 30 seconds to cut the tube and then clicks then together.
Benefits - more accurate, quicker, more cost effective - and the job can be done.
Every time we show the tube laser cutting the SES logo should be in the back ground. The idea is for our customers to buy finished pieces from us rather than raw material and then spend hours cutting them to the sizes / shapes they want
Does that make sense?
Target audience: metal fabricators
Ideas for the visual style: Looking for guidance
Extra notes:
