3d Rigg and animate

For the final practice of the subject, students will be provided with a couple of 3D models of characters prepared for rigging and subsequent animation. The student must personalize the model by adding a texture or even extra geometry.

The student must take care that the vertices are weighed to a maximum of 3 bones each, paying special attention to conflictive areas such as the space between the fingers, the shoulders-armpits and the groin.

The ultimate goal is to pose the character for a Street Fighter, Tekken, Smash bros, etc. style side view fighting game and then create the following animations:



1. Idle Loop

2. Walk or Run Loop

3. QuickAttack

4. HeavyAttack



The delivery will consist of a .max file with the animated character, at least one diffuse texture .jpg or .png and a file with the same name .txt that includes the animations and their duration in the following format:



- 000 - 002 - TPose

- 003 - 083 - Idle
