Description
Experience Level: Entry
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced 3D Modeler and Animator to build two separate interactive greeting card asset packs—one Portrait configuration and one Landscape configuration. These will be integrated into a live WebGL (Three.js) product customiser.
Each pack must contain a greeting card that begins tucked inside an envelope. Users will dynamically overlay their own images and text onto the panels via 2D canvas data streams.Key Requirements & Technical Specifications:Geometry & Hierarchy Structure:
Provide two completely separate master folders (one for Portrait, one for Landscape). Each file must contain:
The Envelope: Must consist of a main pocket (Envelope_Body) and an openable flap (Envelope_Flap). It must feature a dedicated exterior material channel named Envelope_Front.
The Greeting Card: A standard low-poly sheet rigged to bend cleanly in half along a center spine. It must feature four distinct, named material zones:
Card_Front,
Card_Inside_Left (or Inside_Top for landscape),
Card_Inside_Right (or Inside_Bottom), and
Card_Back.UV Mapping (Crucial - ISO A5/A4 Proportions):
To allow seamless web texture projection without stretching or distortion, all UV coordinates must be unwrapped perfectly flat and snap exactly to the 0-1 texture grid bounds.
Portrait Asset Pack:
The 4 card panels and the envelope front must be mapped as vertical rectangles conforming strictly to the 1 width to 1.414 height aspect ratio (ISO A5).
Landscape Asset Pack: The 4 card panels and the envelope front must be mapped as horizontal rectangles conforming strictly to the 1.414 width to 1 height aspect ratio (ISO A5).
Rigging & Sequence Animation:
The asset must contain a single, cleanly baked timeline animation track broken into a distinct, chronological sequence:
Phase 1 (Frames 0 to X): The envelope sits closed. The Envelope_Flap hinges open realistically.
Phase 2 (Frames X to Y): The greeting card smoothly slides out of the envelope pocket along the Y-axis.
Phase 3 (Frames Y to Z): The greeting card stands independently and hinges open along its center spine fold to reveal the inside panels.
Geometry must not clip, overlap, or exhibit visual artifacts at any stage of the sequence.
Deliverables:
Fully organized source files (Blender .blend or Maya .mb).Production-ready .GLB and .gITF files with fully baked animation tracks and cleanly exposed material names.
This is a work-for-hire project. Upon full milestone payment, the buyer retains 100% full commercial rights, copyright, and ownership of the assets, including the right to resell them as templates on commercial marketplaces.
To Apply:Please share portfolio examples demonstrating your experience with low-poly web props, interactive product customisers, or custom skeletal rigging for real-time web applications (Three.js/BabylonJS).
