Description
Experience Level: Expert
I am seeking to generate woven pattern(s) and panels using "knots". (e.g. nautical knots, Celtic braids, etc)
Specifically I am seeking computational design solutions using Grasshopper and probably Kangaroo (or suitable plug-ins).
Please see reference Word doc with embedded images. The idea would be to generate a tight weave as illustrated. In the real world all the strands would be touching / intersecting. For a digital project, the strands / surfaces might have to be no closer than tangent. And if conforming to a sphere, the sphere could trim away the inner facing surfaces.
The budget is £400 - £991 GBP depending on the complexity and number of patterns generated. This can be negotiated.
Please ask if you require additional information.

Hi Dana,
are you also looking for a manufacturer? Would you be open to manufacturing in China?
Let me know!
cheers,
Agnes
