Experience Level: Entry
I’m developing a new building concept in Rhino and need a Grasshopper expert to turn my early sketches into a flexible, parametric workflow. The priority is simulations, so everything you build should help me iterate building massing, façade logic, and core spatial layouts quickly.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A clean, well-commented Grasshopper definition (.gh) that drives key building parameters—height, floor-to-floor, façade modules, and structural grids.
• An accompanying Rhino file (.3dm) showing the definition in action on a sample building.
• A short PDF or Markdown brief explaining slider names, data structures, and how to tweak the script.
I’m open to your preferred approach—whether that involves custom algorithm development, geometry modeling tricks, or data-rich visualizations—so long as the end result is easy for me to extend. If you can incorporate simple energy- or daylight-related hooks, that’s a bonus.
Collaboration will be iterative: we’ll agree on core parameters, you’ll share a first pass, I’ll test in my own Rhino environment, then we’ll refine until the tool is production-ready. Clear versioning (e.g., GH_01, GH_02) and prompt communication are essential.
If you’re comfortable with parametric design for buildings and enjoy translating design intent into streamlined Grasshopper scripts, let’s get started.
