Project VFHome-1 is a three bedroom, four bathroom home on two levels and has attached a 'garage' which is used as a Packing and Delivery room. Above the garage is the Nursery and Production room and on the third level (16 feet high plus the attic) is the Vertical Farming Production room. The roof is covered with solar shingles and has six FX-20kW, 220V vertical axis wind turbines. The north side wall of the Vertical Farming Production room and the west and south side walls of the Vertical Farming Production room and the Nursery and Production room are built with 4' x 8' photovoltaic glass type A (maximum transparency). The power plant of this project has 200kW capacity and is designed to function like the power plant of Project Jokai-7.1. Through this project my goal is to integrate in our homes the most modern technologies that we have in the global market for how to produce safe, affordable, residential clean electricity. Also, I'd like to integrate in this home the most modern technologies that we have today for vertical farming because in 2050 the Earth will have 10 billion people and it is a challenge for how to feed 10 billion people in just 27 years from today (if climate change is real).
On the east side of this home it is possible to build an addition in order to double, even to triple, the space for vertical farming from 2,000 square feet to 6,000 square feet. The power plant of the home and of the addition will have the capacity to run the home, the space for the vertical farming, and to charge the electric cars for the entire family.
In vertical farming the greatest cost is the cost of the energy (0.1 to 0.4 kW per square meter) and the electricity is not cheap in these days.
I would like to have Project VFHome-1 executed in 3D electronic support. Please find attached the West Elevation, Level 1 and Level 2.
