Architecture Student Assistant Wanted – University-Level Experience Required
I am looking for an architecture graduate with university-level experience to assist with the development of an academic architectural design project.
This role would suit someone confident in architectural thinking, spatial development, and presentation work, who is comfortable contributing ideas and refining concepts.
Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with concept development and spatial organisation
• Supporting plan, section and elevation drawing development
• Helping refine design narratives and architectural arguments
• Reviewing and improving presentation layouts
• Providing constructive design feedback
Essential Skills:
• Current architecture student or recent graduate (Part 1 or Part 2 preferred)
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles
• Confident in reading and developing plans and sections
• Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, or similar
• Good graphic presentation skills (InDesign/Illustrator preferred)
• Ability to think critically and work collaboratively
Desirable:
• Experience with physical or digital modelling
• Strong understanding of light, materiality, and spatial composition
• Previous academic studio project experience
The position is flexible and can be discussed in terms of time commitment and compensation.
