Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I have a CG model of an airship that I made for a series which I have recently produced. I am now looking to get 3D models of it printed, and need someone who can make some modifications to the model to solve problems with printing.
Below is a link to the file in dropbox. Attached is a photograph showing the areas which are coming in as too small on Shapeways where I am trying to print, and as you will see the rear fins/sails have disappeared completely. I am no expert on modelling or 3D printing, and could use this corrected. The other problem is scale - I have been messaged by one printing company to say the model is tiny, and it needs to be rescaled to print. My aim is to have the ship at 20cm long.
So I need someone who can modify this model so that it will print successfully, and at the correct scale. I would also be interested in hearing if it would be possible to make it so that it would print hollow, and if a simple stand attachment could also be added to the base.
Many thanks,
Greg
