Hi Jason,
Creating this in C4D should not be a problem, I do have a few questions before pitching:
Q1—what is your deadline? I won't have any capacity until mid-to-late October
Q2—what version of C4D are you using?
Q3—what render engine are you using C4D native, C4D ProRender, Vray, Redshift, etc?
Q4—can you please post your moodpboard to the brief?
Q5—by looping, do you want an infinity loop, a bit like a cinemagraph, or for it to open and close?
Thanks

Hello.
Do you want it to be modelled/animated in Cinema4d only? Or it doesn't matter what DCC?
I'm more comfortable with Houdini.Jason B.01 Oct 2020The only reason why i looked for cinema4d is that i can make changes myself if they're required.
The idea is the flower is essentially like breathing in and out. As it blooms it gains colour, and loops back on itself.
To explain further its not exactly like the gif i sent but kind of shrinking, then expanding (blooming).
it should start off white and the texture style I was going for was like the collection of images, looking like halfway between paper/marble scupture and semi-translucent, and then as it blooms it gains colour to be like iridescent, and kind of like fibre optics on the tips.
Does that make sense? i tried to layout the miro board to reflect like the change. Theres the start texture colour on the left and the final on the right.
