CFD analysis of a radial turbo expander for subsonic gas expansion.
I will define the following:
~ Inlet fluid, flow rate, temperature and pressure,
~ Outlet pressure
~ Maximum turbo rotational speed.
I will send a STEP file of the turbo, the stator and the volute. The model contains a separate static and rotating region so that an MRF can be correctly assigned.
The deliverable will be the outlet temperature and visualisation of the flow profile for velocities and pressures.
