Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
I am looking to have a new model train designed. This one is a bit more complicated in that in addition to the external details, a frame must be created to interface with an existing mechanism.
Prototype Information:
The prototype for this project is Sperry Rail Services Detection Car #136. This car was designed to travel across the railroad looking for defects in the track. It was originally built for the New York Central lines in 1928 as Motor Car #M-11. It was purchased by Sperry and rebuilt into a detection car in 1948.
