Design and development fixes for a Volusion E-Commerce website

A few changes are required to the design/code of the Volusion E-Commerce Website - Punky Pearlz. The URL: www.punkypearlz.com

The candidate must be design orientated with Volusion coding/integration capabilities. What we need is someone who can envision how our requirements can be met. We are not looking for a traditional developer.

We need the following done:

1) Instead of the changing images at the top we need a YouTube video to be included on the home page. It should be fixed and not part of a slideshow. The video will use half of the space currently used by the changing images.

2) Some space will be available after performing number 1 above. In this space we need a list of price ranges linked to pages that will display product by price.Example on this site for instance: http://www.thinkgeek.com/ (see left hand side menu)

3) Remove the phone number from the top of the page.

4) The subscription area should be linked to a MailChimp account. It should also changed to a text form as we want to be able to write there whatever we want. Currently it is an image which makes the process difficult.

5) On the top header of the site we need to include an attractive piece of graphics that says something about the fact we do customised jewellery by request. Clicking there should open a lightbox window with a form that allows people to submit real request for products they want us to create.

6) In the space that was created after getting rid of the images and replacing them with a video half of the size (step 1), we also need to include an easy to browse calendar that will keep track of various important dates (mothers day for instance) and events such of craft fairs we are attending.
