Design a mosaic of our logo

Hi great designers,

We are working on our new company website and i have a first clear request.

I don't have a clue of the effort required. If it is off, please put your budget to deliver quality work in the proposal.

For a slider image, I want the logo to be designed in Gaudi mosaic style such as done in the add for the Barcelona Apple Store:

The image we need on our slider has a dimension of 880x360. We might want to use it on a (large) poster or flag later though so it should scale nicely without loosing quality, so please make it vector based (AI?).

I've attached a screenshot of an impression of how we want the result to be somehow. Feel free to put your own great ideas in the mix though!

The Apple image in the screenshot is used as a placeholder. The guy with the iPad should obviously not be there. The left halve is a solid color right now, but the whole width should be mosaic. The S should be positioned where the apple is now.

Can it be done that the text "We are software security exports" is in the mosaic style as well. Like the text which is below the apple now? And would it be possible to keep that editable?

I can deliver the S-logo vector.
