Design a Character/Logo for my YouTube Channel

I'm launching a gaming channel on YouTube and my "character" (effectively my online alias) still needs created. He's based on Major Denis Bloodnok from the Goon Show, although he's a shorter, more cartoon version.

If you can imagine a short, fat little major with a big mustache and a Victorian army helmet then that's what I'm after.

There are a lot of fan-created images of Major Bloodnok from the show but I'd like mine to be just a few colours and with most of his face hidden by the mustache and helmet.

I also need this in PSD format, all the layers intact, and in high quality so I can adapt the size and shape for various banners, thumbnails and icons.

£50 to whoever can create what is a simple enough design but one that is sadly beyond my skills with Photoshop.

UK based freelancers are preferred because of the cultural connection with this character and the complexity of the brief but anyone with a proven track record would be considered.
