I am looking for someone to work with on an ongoing basis to data capture in Excel and check data against websites. I receive spreadsheets from clients with product data in their own fields. I need to map the data from a test of ten of their products against a template of my own.
From this test data on ten products I then need to verify that the data provided corresponds with the data on their website and input the data that is missing.
This will only ever be a test. I receive products files of 3000-10000 products and I only need ten products to be checked. There are however approx 30 possible fields that need to be captured on each product and checked against the website, then the missing data captured from the website into the relevant fields.
There will likely be two spreadsheets a week, sometimes one, sometimes three or four but count on an average of 1.5.
I have included an example spreadsheet that I have completed.
We are supplied a spreadsheet, normally Amazon or Google Merchant and in some cases a website export.
The job will be to
1-Scan to see if the data should support the minimum data acceptable in tab First test scan by placing a Yes or No next to the column
2-Find examples on the website where the data from tab test1 does not match the data supplied in the initial spreadsheet.
3-Map the data from the initial spreadsheet into the tab test1
4-Eliminate the data that is the same by writing same in the next column
5-Map the data that is present on the website into the second column of the test1 tab for that product
6-Repeat steps until there are ten products in total with checks against information supplied and information missing that is present on the website.
I would say that each spreadsheet should be complete in a 2-3 working day period from when I send it to you.
I have four that could be started immediately. They dont take too long to do but they need to be accurate.
The trick will be to first look at which products dont have the same data and make sure to concentrate on those products.
If all the data is the same that is great but in most cases its incomplete which is why this check needs to be completed.
This is always going to be to test data and so we only need to do this check for ten products and not more than that.
