Description
Experience Level: Expert
This job has to be completed latest by 27th of January. Earlier completion will be rewarded
We're an IT support company and this is for an external client.
A standalone website (multiple languages/internationalised) for sending e-cards
The e-card will be sent as an email with the following elements
- name, email address, mobile number, opt in to our mailing list, country of the person sending
- personal message, and whether it can be shared (if so, displayed on the site and also tweeted out)
- select an image that's on the site
- name and email address of multiple recipients
- sent to email addresses associated with the country chosen above
- some boiler plate text that goes with each e-card (with the option of providing it in different languages, again based on the country chosen)
- a link to view the e-card online if it doesn't render in the email client
As well, it has to have a front end designed and implemented.
There has to be the ability for people to upload images (artists for example) so that others can then choose and send those images as e-cards. There will be meta-data stored such as who made the art, their email address, a description of the art.
There will probably be a stage two and three of this project, where it is refined.
It's important that the code is clearly documented so that it's made easy for someone to take over development if necessary.
Back end to add language translations, and to alter boiler plate text, etc., approve uploaded artwork, view and dump out email address of those sending emails out
Full brief to be discussed. To be developed in PHP & MySQL with a view to hosting on a Linux-based web server.
