Create a database of contacts

I'm a freelance copywriter and I have various letters of introduction that I would like to send to different types of companies.

What I need therefore is a database of contacts so that I can email my letter of introduction to them. I envisage creating various databases (or categories within one database) so that I can tailor the message I send.

Initially, I would like to contact marketing mangers within medium to large tourism companies and marketing managers within medium to large food and drink companies.

I would also want databases based on regions to target PR agencies and Website agencies (e.g. Manchester, Oxford, Bath, etc.)

Within the database I would need: Company name, Company type, Contact name, Email, Telephone number, Website address, City/Town

In each case I would be trying to target the person most likely to be responsible for hiring a freelance copywriter.

I anticipate that I would be ready to start the job in a couple of weeks time and would start with perhaps just one sector/city initially to see how it goes.

I'd love to receive bids from people who have successfully completed similar projects in the past and if you could provide details of the results you gained for previous clients, that would be great.

I haven't outsourced this kind of work before so if you are able to give me an idea of what you would hope to achieve in say 10 hours, that would be useful.

Additionally, if you have any suggestions, based on your own experience, of how I could improve the above plan, I'm open to ideas.
