Create a chart for my site

This is a project for VK as discussed previously and outlined below;

Connect to a database a return 2 charts - one displaying balance for each day over a used defined period (limited by DB content).

The second chart to display transaction data limited to pre-defined category's.

Both charts to be displayed in containers on a simple web page.

As discussed both charts will be of the top type shown in the image.
