Experience Level: Expert
I require a cocos2d programmer to program a isometric city scape tilemap (we will provide graphics). All source code must be provided.
The game requires a map of a city where buildings (or map pin icons) are clickable.
The requirements are:
Build a cocos2d app that will allow a user to move left/right/up/down on a given tilemap space (ie: 100x100 tiles at 32x64 piles)
The clickable map pin icons or clickable buildings will be fixed in position; however we'd like to make it so that we can randomly place the map pins anywhere on the map.
For obvious reasons the map pins cannot be out at sea, on a road, on a park, etc -- so your code must allow some way to let a map pin be placed on a building complex.
The clickable building/icon must give a callback (numeric or some other identifier) so that we can do something with it.
The tile map must allow the user to scroll left/right/bottom/left. You should not be allowed to scroll outside the confidents of the generated map.
Also, we need to remember where on the screen the player was last, so saving state is also important.
Scenario:
A player scrolls to the bottom right hand side, presses a building. This press action launches a new CCScene. The player presses "Back" and is taken back to the bottom right hand side of the map.
To clarify. We require:
1. Programming of a isometric cityscape tilemap
2. Clickable buildings or clickable map icons (which are randomly placed only on buildings) which give a callback of a numeric number or a callback
3. Saving state. The ability to save where the player was last on the screen; this must work regardless of whether the player left the screen or had to quit the application to take a telephone call.
If you have cocos2d experience and tilemap experience in your portfolio you will be considered.
This project is speculative in nature and require quotes at this stage.
Your code must be free of bugs and must be shown to work in a video or screenshot format. All source code must also be provided.
