CIFAS / NFD integration (checks only) in PHP

We're a fast-growing financial services company who need to run certain checks against the NFD (using our CIFAS credentials.)

At the moment, we're working manually, using the CIFAS website - but want to automate these.

Our core systems are written in PHP, so we need, effectively, a PHP function that makes the call to the NFD using curl, interprets the response code, and generates a meaningful return value (probably a failure/success code and some narrative) that our core systems can integrate with.

We're looking specifically for someone who has done CIFAS integration before.
