PLEASE NO GENERIC RESPONSES - Please only quote if you have examples of Brand Guideline documents you have developed.
We will need this job to be complete early next week.
Hi PeopleperHour people,
We are a charity working with survivors of violence lokoing to neaten up our brand a bit.
Our logo needs to be made into an eps from a (slightly fuzzy) jpeg. The logo design will need subtle changes to make it look a little more contemporary but we cannot deviate from the existing logo very much.
Once we have that sorted we need a brand guideline doc to be developed.
We need a palette of colours (we currently have just two, so need to add in a purple and another colour that will be useful as a highlight colour).
We need to lay out a few simple, pretty standard rules about how our logo is and isn't to be used - giving images as examples - (e.g. do not warp, skew or obscure, leave adequate space around it, we have mono and reversed out versions as well as the standard version etc).
We also need to include a few basics about what we can and can't say and about our styling rules (e.g. we spell out numbers 1 through 9, and do bullet points in a particular way, we refer to our projects in a particular way).
All of this needs to be made into an A5 8-12pp pdf so that we can start to use our branding more consistently.
This Brand Guideline document would need to be designed in InDesign CS3 or older (so that we can tweak it ourselves later if need be) and supplied as InDesign packaged folder (including links to all eps versions of our logo) as well as as a pdf (no crop marks).
Our logo would also need to be supplied as eps, jpg (CMYK and RGB) and gif (on transparency).
Thanks for taking the time to read this job.
Many thanks,
Laura
