Change an existing Joomla template and make site more visible

Currently, the site (www.cedarlia.com) is run on Joomla 2.5/Virtuemart 2.0 and the maintenance overhead seem a lot. My client wants to move to a more responsive Joomla hybrid template which will allow changes made on the virtuemart category to be inherited directly on the Joomla Top menu. I've found a template that meets their need (VP SuperMart from Virtue Planet) and would want you to do the customisation to keep the content in line with the existing site but at the same time benefit from the new enhancements that this template provides. I'll supply a detailed list for the styling and customisation but as a guide our style reference guide will be taken from www.thewhitecompany.com and www.anthropology.com for that crisp minimalistic look and feel.

In addition, the existing product upload done using CSVI Pro is not working for the client. There appear to be a lot of fiddling involved to make sure that the product file is uploaded successfully whilst the images applicable to the products are loaded separately to their ftp server. This does not give my client a lot of confidence at the moment so I'd like you to recommend a better approach for a product upload utility that has a more wholistic approach rather than the current disparate approach.

I want the site to become more visible online so that our sales can be improved.

I'm keen to have this work started asap. I reckon it can be completed between one to two weeks.
