Carbon Credits White Paper.

Working Title – “How to make money as an investor in the Carbon Credit Market”

I am looking for a quality “white paper” about the carbon credit market, aimed at investors. The purpose of the paper is to de-mystify the complexities of the different markets, which is full of acronyms, exchanges, standards, registries, verification procedures, qualities, etc. and to explain how an investor can create a return from the carbon credit market.

There is quite a lot written generally about the Kyoto agreement in 1997 and yes, I am interested in this content to some extent, I want the paper to go deeper and deliver real value. Much of what I've seen is very high level and general, and talks about predictions by Barclays Capital for example, but I want the paper to help real investors understand the market, its risks, how to manage those risks, examples of returns that have been generated etc.
