Remote Laptop Custodian & Technical Support (US-Based)

We are looking for a reliable and tech-savvy individual based in the United States to act as a Remote Laptop Custodian. In this role, you will maintain and provide remote access to laptops for software engineers employed by U.S. companies who are temporarily working abroad.

Responsibilities:
- Receive, unbox, and set up laptops according to provided instructions.
- Connect devices to the internet and ensure they remain online and accessible for remote access.
- Maintain daily remote access availability to support ongoing development work.
- Perform simple in-person tasks as needed, such as rebooting devices, installing updates, or running diagnostics.
- Monitor the condition and performance of each laptop, and promptly report any technical issues.
- Coordinate with remote engineers to ensure seamless operations and address any ad hoc support needs.

Qualifications:
- Must reside in the United States.
- Familiarity with basic laptop setup, Wi-Fi networks, and remote access tools.
- Highly responsible, organized, and trustworthy, capable of managing multiple devices simultaneously.
- Clear and consistent communication skills.
- Prior experience in IT support or technical assistance is a plus, but not required.

Compensation:
- $200 per laptop per month
