Position Overview:
As a Virtual Project Coordinator at Omicsveu, you will play a pivotal role in managing and
coordinating projects that harness the power of AI and copilot technologies. Working
remotely, you will ensure that projects related to omics research and application are executed
smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve supporting CEO/CTO liaising with crossfunctional teams, managing project timelines, and leveraging advanced tools to optimize
workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of AI and omicsrelated projects. Ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Remote Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among remote
team members, stakeholders, and clients using digital platforms and project management
tools.
• AI Integration: Assist in the integration of AI technologies into omics research and
applications. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective deployment and utilization
of AI solutions.
• Copilot Systems Management: Utilize and manage copilot systems to enhance project
workflows and productivity. Provide support and guidance on these systems to optimize their
use.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules,
reports, and communication logs. Ensure all documentation is organized, up-to-date, and
accessible.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress, performance, and deliverables. Implement
quality control measures to ensure that outcomes meet Omicsveu’s high standards.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential risks and issues related to AI and copilot
systems. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and resolve problems efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role
with a focus on AI and copilot technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI technologies relevant project
coordination
• Remote Work Skills: Proven ability to manage projects and teams remotely. Proficiency in
using digital collaboration tools and project management software (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Jira,
Trello).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure clear, effective remote
interactions.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the
ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and
risk management.
• Tools: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira, Asana) and familiarity
with AI frameworks and copilot tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Cancer biology, Project
Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Agile) are a
plus.
• Experience: Additional experience with specific AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow,
PyTorch) and copilot systems (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is highly desirable.
