Background:
Affirm (www.affirm.com) is a key marketing lever for merchants - allowing our merchants to increase sales, basket size, as well as improve customer experience. Affirm also runs a direct-to-consumer business that focuses on our
SuperApp which contains our Affirm Anywhere product, Savings Account product, and our upcoming
Debit+ card. Affirm is in a highly competitive environment that is changing fast and we are spearheading
the Buy Now Pay Later industry in the US and beyond. Given the complexity of our business model, it's
critical that the Business Process and Ops team is keeping the senior leadership team in the loop on our
business performance.
Business problem:
Developing business reviews for Affirm’s complex business is an ever-evolving and complex process.
Building and maintaining Weekly Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews are a key
responsibility of the Business Process and Ops team. We often need to revamp these processes to keep
them relevant as we scale.
The task:
I need a business process document that outlines how you would approach the task of developing, administrating, and ensuring that the Weekly Business Review is a valuable and relevant engagement for the most senior executives at Affirm. The following need to be considered/addressed in the document:
*How you structure a process docs in general
● How do you approach working with cross-functional stakeholders on this project
● Which cross-functional stakeholders/teams would you collaborate with on this project
● How you would structure the build and roll-out process
● How you would structure the weekly meeting cadence
● What kind of metrics do you think would be relevant to our business model
● What tools or organizational methods would you use to support this process
● How do you plan to keep the process relevant and effective as the business scales
I know you may not be 100% clear on the details of our business model, so I will be most interested in HOW you will develop this process and focus slightly less on any proposed metrics you think would be relevant to our business. I need a Word document (NOT slides) that is no more than 4 pages in length. I need this completed and sent to me by this coming Sunday no later than late afternoon (2/6/2022). Please note I am in San Francisco, CA.
