Hello,
We are a UK based start up that runs an eco friendly and natural marketplace selling thousands of products from hundreds of sellers across the world. We are looking for a support agent (focused on obtaining new sellers on our site) who can take on work on:
* Answering sellers questions quickly and coherently via our support desk (assistly.com) which will range from being about our business model, pricing, through to more technical questions
* Referring sellers to our knowledge base which you will help us to build up to cover common questions
* Escalating questions where necessary to a team member if you need additional information
* Using good support etiquette and fluent English style written in the voice of our companies brand.
This work will initially be for one hour per day, with the intention to increase this later to potentially a full time role longer term.
Before you bid on this project, please ensure you read the following carefully as all of the following items are required for this job:
* Fluent in English. We are mainly considering those with mother tongue English but would consider some candidates if their English was exceptionally good.
* Have at least 1 year experience with an online helpdesk (and willing to give detailed examples of this)
* Have advanced IT skills (many of our questions will be technical and the ability to quickly understand online systems is required)
The following is not required but is preferable and those with these skills will most likely take preference to the job:
* Knowledge and experience with assistly.com (or zendesk)
* Development (programming) experience or a demonstration of extremely advanced knowledge of online platforms such as ecommerce systems, "my account" back end areas and so on.
* Before you bid on this project please ensure you structure your bid exactly as shown below (your bid will be rejected if you do not follow the requested process).
Please message us with your bid with the following information. In all cases paste the original numbers and questions in your response and either fill in the missing parts or paste your answer underneath the question where appropriate.
1) My name is Jason Dainter, and in the brief I have given you a description of our company. Please complete the following answers (hint, Google is your friend).
2) Your company is called (your answer) and the main way you make money as a business is (your answer).
3) A seller has been emailed by our company with an introduction about how to sell on our platform. They have responded with their first email back saying "sounds great Jason, our products seem perfect, what do I do next?". Provide the answer you would give to the seller in full.
4) The same seller has responded back saying "Oh, I just realised, I am based in the USA it seems your company is UK based is this a problem?". Provide the answer you would give to the seller in full.
5) The following words sum up our company brand. Fun, relaxed, quirky, playful, colloquial, zany, quirky, trusting, honest, friendly, down to earth. Its important that the style of our support is fun and playful (often joking in areas) but also comes across as being serious when necessary. Please take the following sentences and rewrite them in the style of our brand as if you would to our customers.
Sentence 1) Incorrect. You are mistaken here. In order to become a valid seller on our website you must obtain a PayPal account which you can do so via the URL PayPal.com.
Sentence 2) Actually, It has been suggested by our developers that your payment was taken by the customer so therefore you must pay us a commission on this amount.
Happy bidding!
