Market research for classified ads platform

Description: I need you to do market research (in the UK) and present a detailed written report with your findings. We are in the process of building an on-line platform for classified ads. Unlike a normal classified ads website, the primary focus will be on broadcasting newly published ads to a variety of topic-specific and location-targeted channels, such as social networks (e.g. topic-specific Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, etc.), mailing lists, our mobile apps, media partners, etc., at a premium rate. Our primary target audience is individuals and small businesses in the UK who want to instantly reach a wide yet targeted audience for their message, in a cost-effective way.

For the market research, the main areas of interest for us are:

* Market estimates
* Current competition (statistics and profiles about their user base and revenue figures would be a plus)
* Shortcomings of the competition's offerings (incl. suggestions on benefits that we should focus on)
* Recommendations on pricing policy
* Identification of possible partners and distribution channels for our customers' classified ads
* Any other relevant and useful findings and recommendations
