I’m looking for a part-time Fundraising & Investor Outreach Associate to support me with early-stage fundraising for my EdTech startup. This will start with just a couple of hours per week, with the potential to increase as we progress.
Initial responsibilities include:
• Building targeted lists of relevant pre-seed investors (angels, micro-VCs, EdTech-focused funds)
• Conducting investor outreach and follow-ups
• Maintaining a simple investor spreadsheet (tracking conversations & next steps)
• Booking and organising investor meetings
• Updating the pitch deck (content and structure only)
• Managing EIS/SEIS application using SeedLegals (membership already set up)
Ideal candidate:
• Already familiar with early-stage fundraising processes
• Experience in EdTech or similar startup environments is a strong plus
• Highly organised and comfortable with outreach
• Strong written communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Hours:
• A couple of hours per week to start (flexible)
