Fundraiser

Fundraiser required for a professional dance company based in Oxfordshire.

We are unique in that all our dancers have learning disabilities. We have performed in Spain, Portugal and Germany, as well as touring the UK. Last month we performed at The Place, the foremost venue in the UK for contemporary dance. And, last year, we performed in front of 23,000 as part of the opening ceremony for the Special Olympics. We have been established for fifteen years.

In addition to six dancers in the professional company, we have a programme of classes for all ages around the county and conduct training courses for local authorities, much of which the dancers themselves lead.

The dancers are encouraged to develop their work themselves. Our artistic and creative qualities are immensely successful but we are struggling to maintain revenue to match our ambitions.

As a consequence, we are looking for a committed fundraiser, who has a great track record and who will accept the challenge of working with our dynamic company.
