Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am after two distinct spreadsheets of which this is the first; please feel free to bid on one or both according to your own skillset.
1) Personal Cashflow modelling.
I need to be able to able to create a spreadsheet that will calculate a client\'s future financial position and display this graphically. It will need to incorporate growth on lump sum investments made at outset plus additional ad-hoc payments and withdrawls across a client\'s lifetime as well as regular savings.
I need to make allowance for investments to grow at different rates according to their type so ideally I should be able to specify whether it is cash, shares, bonds etc and this would affect the rate of return being used.
The spreadsheet should also be able to incorporate the following:
* taking current income & outgoings now and projecting this forward to include any known changes (such as the end of the mortgage outgoings when it is paid off).
* the ability to model \"what-if\" situations such as the death of the client which would trigger off lump sum payments from life insurance but possibly lead to the end of their income
A \'nice to have\' would also be to include monte-carlo simulations to show a range of possible outcomes.
*** Obviously you will need need to understand the time value of money / the effect of inflation and the PMT/FV/Financial functions ***
Given enough time I could probably put this together myself but although i\'m reasonably good, I\'d rather leave this to an expert - which is where you come in.
It is possible to purchase an off-the-shelf solution to this but I\'d rather see if I can get something that (a) I can adapt / amend so that the outputs match my business style, (b) is better value for money and (c) that i will own the copyright for so I don\'t get stung for any future licensing fees.
I don\'t mind if you want to bid on a fixed-fee basis or an hourly rate one; if the latter then you\'ll need to give me an estimate of how many hours you expect the job to take.
Please also indicate your experience, availability and the likely timescales.
Many thanks.
