To prepare quotes and estimates for construction project enquiries
Prepare accurate pricing schedules by measuring from drawings, completing BoQ’s or pricing schedules
Interpret design / systems correct from evaluation
Clearly define scope, specifications and allowances in quote / tender submissions
Submit quotations and tenders to deadlines, proactively securing extensions if required
Liaising with other departments across the company such commercial for terms, contracts for resourcing and informing sales of extensions
Updating systems and following processes
Interpret client requirements, identifying value engineering, costs of quality and extra overs
Ensuring any technical or design led aspects are in accordance with any statutory requirements such as BS EN, Standard methods of measurement etc
Review basic forms of contract and commercial / contract terms and qualify the estimate accordingly
