My client owns companies in the areas of finance, real estate, asset management, insurance and retail is looking applicants for the Strategy Analyst position. They operate in Europe and Asia and with UK office in Nottingham.
You will play a key role within the Scoring and Strategy team that is vital in managing the clientâ��s credit risk exposures of circa £100m through the ongoing management and development of both credit scoring models and credit strategies.
Your main responsibility in the role :
* Work with the Commercial Marketing, Client Liaison and Credit Policy teams, to initiate, develop and recommend profitable credit strategies specifically focusing on the optimisation of new customer lending and existing customer behaviour - specifically authorisations, card re-issue, credit limit increase / decrease, cross sale and back book re-pricing (including, where appropriate, the use of champion / challenger approaches);
* Manage key Credit and Risk decision systems developing a full understanding of capability, dependencies and existing strategies ensuring developments, testing, releases and enhancements are fully evaluated.
* Responsible for managing allocated Credit and Risk scorecards with accountability for tracking ongoing scorecard performance and for recommending changes to weightings, intercepts and / or customer management cut offs.
* Making recommendations for scorecard redevelopment and, where development is occurring "in house", responsible for undertaking developments in line with my client�s scorecard development policy and methodology.
* Oversight of the development of externally sourced models and strategies providing validation and confirmation that developments are statistically valid and are in line with the clients requirements and specification.
* Responsible for formulating, presenting and obtaining approval for scoring and strategy change recommendations.
* Tracking, monitoring and analysis of Credit and Risk strategies and scorecards.
* To ensure that legal and regulatory requirements are correctly incorporated within scoring models and strategies.
* To support the evaluation and development of credit proposals and credit strategy change across portfolios, segments and individual retailers.
* To develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the business to ensure that credit scores and strategies are effectively implemented.
* To support key scoring and strategy developments within Fraud, Collections / Recoveries arenas in line with business needs and priority, to maintain a commitment to the company vision and the spirit of the organisation.
