BUSINESS PLAN

We need help constructing a detailed business plan for the progression of our business. We are presently a National Caravan Council Approved Mobile Workshop, (Servicing and maintaining Touring Caravans and Motorhomes),and have been a registered business sice last May, but only commenced trading in February. Since then our business has reached capacity, and we are turning away more work than we can take on. We are now planning to move into a stationary workshop with enough room to service 3 vehicles at a time. We have found the ideal premises and location. This will allow us to employ a second engineer, and perhaps an apprentice. We have been working closely with the National Caravan Council, and CITO (Caravan Industry Training Organisation) on this project. They have been exellent in providing industry statistics etc. If we get this off the ground, we will be Scotland ONLY fully independant (of any manufacturer) National Caravan Council Approved Workshop (a scheme designed to prove staff competancy, customer service standards etc). This allows us to Service and maintain units from ANY manufacturer, even those under manufacturers warranty. We will also be the only Approved Workshop to carry 'Gas Safe Register' registration. We need someone with a lot of patience, and also someone who can learn our industry quickly in order to help build a business plan specific to our business and our market sector, which can be used to attract financial support from Banks, Local Authorities etc. If you need a little more information regarding our business, please visit www.mlvs.co.uk or www.macleisurevehicleservices.co.uk
