General information for the business: We fill Client vacancies with high grade, carefully vetted ex-military at the Executive / Managerial level on a 'no hire no fee' basis

Geographical areas: All UK (though mainly South / Midlands) plus overseas - primarily Africa
Target customers: Large / medium sized companies where there is an obvious skills fit eg Supply Chain / Logistics; Engineering (all types); Construction; Telecoms / IT; Project Management; Bid Management; Change Management; Risk; Business Strategy
Description of Business Development: Business is now approaching 3 years old and MD can no longer take full ownership of securing new Business Development meetings as he needs to focus on building / expanding relationships that are already productive. We are interested in freelancers who may be able to operate on either (or both) of two levels: (1) secure meetings to agreed criteria with interested companies which MD or Operations Director may attend or (2) attend those meetings themselves, securing Client engagement and thus the chance to put forward candidates for roles.
Extra notes: Hitherto we have used former military to do Business Development as they understand clearly the attributes we are selling - with limited success, as they simply do not have the networks or Business Development expertise. This time we are interested in hearing from people used to doing Business Development, and we will work with the successful applicant to flesh out the Sales proposition. Work from home, attending fortnightly management meetings in London if feasible (negotiable); can be combined with other freelance work. Remuneration along the lines of £1000 per 5 meetings of agreed criteria secured / attended, with commission payable should any successful work result from such introductions.
