Description of Business Development: Previous experience a must within business development - ideally within recruitment .
We are a well established recruitment agency looking to develop and expand into other sectors and are looking for a business developer to assist our recruitment consultants.
You’ll be responsible for building up a business through gaining new customers and accounts.
Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
Establishing and maintaining working relationships.
Skills and Interests
Not afraid to pick up the phone and source the right contact
Understanding about the recruitment market and competitors
To be a self starter and organised
Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness
Good business sense
Good communication skills, both written and verbally
A positive attitude
Initiative and enterprise
Trustworthiness and discretion when handing confidential information
To enjoy networking and winning business
A smart appearance and professional manner
Hours and Environment
Part time - circa 20 hours per week some flexibility to days and times, between £15 & £20 per hour
