prepare a 15 min power point presentation on the following "What are the key issues and priorities for HR in a modern business? Focusing on one key issue, discuss with the panel, drawing from your previous experience, how you would support this"
The presentation needs to list the key issues, and the focus is on the following subject " at a time when companies are looking to reduce overheads in support functions how do HR add value to the bussiness, so it will need to look at staff retention, mittigating ET claims and the potenial for the business to offer HR services to smaller companies that may not already have this function. It should include typical costs for recruitment, and how much it costs a company to defend a claim in the event that happens. I would also be useful to explore other avenues within this topic.
