Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Over 3 months ago on Jan 20th I purchased a Macbook Pro for £1099 from a seemingly reputable company; Mac4sale.ltd. Now 3 months later I never received my Macbook and I do not have my money back.
Every step of the way they messed me around made constant mistakes and acted in a very unprofessional and discourteous manor.
I have contacted the police and also trade standards. I have not received much in the way of help from them I do know that legally they should have refunded me within 14 days of my return of the product.
I need some help to get my money back but also to get some form of compensation. I have not been able to pay the rent and have had to borrow money from my girl friend and mother to survive.
I believe I am owed some form of compensation and also I would like to teach them a lesson as they have acted in such a selfish and irresponsible way.
UPDATE
I finally caved in because I was waiting for for over 2 months for them to refund me. I accepted to just allow them to send me the original MacBook I ordered. They sent it with the wrong power supply and refused to admit it was a mistake. Then they finally sent that and now I have done diagnostics and found that the battery in the MacBook needs replacing and is faulty. They are a shrewd and corrupt company. They cut corners at every intersection. The emotional toll I have had is a lot. Plus I am a filmmaker and need a working macbook to work. They have affected my business and life. There is definitely something dodgy going on there.
It is hard to explain but I have the paper trail and have sent them legal letters several times giving them 14 days to comply and they have not. Surely this means we can sue them for some sort of compensation plus my refund? I honestly do not believe they should be allowed to trade.
I have been dealing with this man:
https://companycheck.co.uk/director/918326607/MR-CHOUDHRY-FARHAN-ZIA/summary
He has shown no professionalism at all. They downright refused to refund me for over 2 months. And now I have a faulty product they refuse to accept a return and refund.
I have had enough of trying to deal with them alone I really need some help. :(
I can see the other companies they own have received terrible reviews on trust pilot also:
Consolekiller.co.uk
Mac4Sale.co.uk
Safepcdisposal.co.uk
Tecknosoft.com
There is something really wrong with this company. They are all underneath E World UK LTD. Trading from Abdington UK. Something very fishy going on and they need to be proven accountable for the terrible service they are providing people. It really affected my life on so many levels.

Do you have the exact website for the company in question, the link you provided doesn't work?
Why do you think you are owed compensation for rent?
Do you have ALL communications?Dominic J.14 Jun 2018https://www.mac4sale.co.uk/
Hi I have all communications. I had to borrow £700 for rent. I lost a lot of work from it also. Probably be trying to get about £1000 plus my £1099 for the macbook back. The emotional stress and loss of work is really frustrating. They are talking to me like I am an idiot.
