Description:
We are seeking a licensed U.S. attorney admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey to review, finalize, and file an Ex Parte Application for Discovery Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1782.
Target Entity / Respondent:
Scope of Work:
1. Review and adapt an existing, comprehensive working draft of:
- Ex Parte Application & Memorandum of Law (Intel factors analyzed)
- Supporting Declaration of Heir / Applicant (executed abroad)
- Proposed Order
- Schedule A Subpoena (targeted account, transaction, and authentication records)
2. Verify compliance with District of New Jersey Local Civil Rules and magistrate/district judge standing orders.
3. File the application electronically (CM/ECF) in the District of New Jersey.
4. Serve the issued subpoena/order on the LLC and coordinate receipt of document productions.
Requirements:
- Must be an active member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
- Experience with 28 U.S.C. § 1782 discovery in aid of foreign proceedings or federal third-party subpoena enforcement preferred.
- Please state your fee structure (fixed-fee review & filing vs. hourly retainer).
