I am writing to seek legal representation and assistance in a matter concerning a formal complaint I have lodged against both Esure, our insurance provider, and the RAC, our breakdown cover provider.
On 17/05/2023, I submitted a formal complaint to both Esure and the RAC regarding an unresolved breakdown cover issue. It has now been six weeks since the complaint was filed, and I have yet to receive a satisfactory response from either party. Esure has claimed that they do not have a role in the matter, and the RAC has repeatedly extended their response deadline without providing any substantive information.
In my initial complaint, I requested information on the possibility of hiring a replacement vehicle while our car remains out of commission. However, there has been no response from either Esure or the RAC regarding this matter. Moreover, I have informed them that our car may become immobile due to driveway resurfacing, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of June. Unfortunately, neither party has acknowledged or addressed this concern.
Given the prolonged and unsatisfactory response from both Esure and the RAC, I am now seeking legal assistance to address the situation. The inability to use our car has severely impacted my ability to commute to work, as I travel over 50 miles from home, resulting in a 100-mile round trip on a daily basis. Consequently, I have been unable to fulfill my work obligations for the past six weeks. In light of these circumstances, I have made arrangements to acquire a loan in order to purchase a replacement vehicle, which will enable me to resume my employment.
I kindly request your expertise and guidance in pursuing this matter further. Specifically, I would appreciate your assistance in reviewing the details of the case, contacting both Esure and the RAC on my behalf, and initiating any necessary legal proceedings to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Additionally, I would appreciate your advice on any potential remedies available to me, such as compensation for the loss of earnings and other related expenses incurred during this period.
