General information for the business: this work is for a divorce petition - could not select other category
Description of legal work: I am the petitioner in my divorce and filed the petition without part 6 (reason for divorce), although we were separated for over 24 months. The judge has come back and is not happy to proceed without me completing part 6.
I need some practical advice on how to best submit (add) this information to the court / my petition. I spoke to the court, who didn't want to advise me, but suggested I could either fill in forms D48 and D80 OR just fill in part 6 in red.
The text in the letter is as follows: Please note that the District Judge having considered the evidence filed, is not satisfied that the petitioner is entitled for the decree sought, because: Part 6 of the Petition must be completed. The Petitioner should deal with the above matter and renew the request for directions for trial.
I look forward to your bids and suggestions.
Bets regards,
John
