Prepare court bundle for small claim hearing

We’re involved in a small claims case with a hearing scheduled on 16 May at Burnley County Court.

Briefly, we hired someone via PeoplePerHour who misrepresented themselves as a qualified lawyer and turned out to be a translator. The judge was frustrated, but we resolved the original claim privately. We then filed a refund request with PeoplePerHour and won the decision.

Now that same company has filed a claim against us. We already submitted a defence form and attended a mediation session, but no agreement was reached. The case is now moving forward to a full hearing.

We recently received a court letter asking us to submit all evidence and materials in advance. We need help to:

Review our documents
Prepare the evidence list and witness statement if needed
Compile the full court bundle

As this is a relatively small claim, we hoping the lawyer can assist us with this on a fixed-fee basis, covering the preparation of the essential documents. We understand that the court bundle needs to be filed at least 14 days before the hearing, so we would appreciate your help as soon as possible.
