Money claim hearing in Court for a mis sold used vehicle

We bought a used vehicle which was advertised as "good condition" but breaks down within the first few hours. it was recovered to our local garage and seller was informed immediately. Asked seller whether he wants to accept return or pay for repairs - seller pays partial amount. Vehicle is repaired - invoice sent to seller so he can pay remaining balance - he refused. Notice of intended prosecution was served - no response from seller. further reminder was sent to seller - no response. Claim registered with Court - following failed mediation meeting / call - Hearing is now scheduled. Is this something you can help me with and how much will it cost me?
